Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 6 amβ11 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Chicago follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The courts are in good shape and there are three. It's better to get there early. Be aware that some "picker ballers" have taken over one court but those are not allowed by the Chicago Public Park. It can make lousy and distracted as those people put speakers and it's not easy to focus for real sports like tennis.

Great courts but people donβt follow turnover rules

A well maintained tennis court with a practice board and 3 courts. The time limit is 1 hour, but often people give the court away around 40 minutes. Usually very busy on less sunny/cooler weekends and evenings though!

There are three public courts. Not open every time; check the playing time (photo). Lights available. There is a limited parking area.

Great courts with far less cracks than you'd find on other Chicago Park District courts. Lights too, so you can play late into the night. You do have to bide your time and wait the for the hour to be up, and sometimes (albeit rarely) people don't vacate courts on the hour. And there's nothing you can do about that really.
